Score Prediction Equatorial Guinea vs Senegal

PROBABLE LINEUPS
EQUATORIAL GUINEA:
Silva, Aguirre, Rui, Konate, Doe, Fousseny, Juvenal, Balboa, Randy, Bodipo, Fabiani.
SENEGAL:
Coundoul, Sané, Diawara, Mangane, N'Daw, Mbengue, Gomis, Diame, Sow, Niang, Ba.

Senegal, touted as tournament favourites, suffered the heaviest shock on matchday one after a 2-1 defeat against Zambia. That was a psychological blow bearing in mind their second game is against co-hosts Equatorial Guinea.
The Teranga Lions need a win atall costs against the Nzalang Nacional to keep their Africa Cupof Nations dreams alive, or else asurprise exit is imminent if othergroup results go against them.
The co-hosts have nothing to lose but will be hoping their home support will be as vibrant as in their opening match. Having kicked off their first-ever Nations Cup game against Libya, it will come as no surprise if theyare able to neutralise the star-studded attacking set up of the roaring Lions, whose defence appears to be one of the weakest in the tournament.
A win for the co-hosts gives them the upper hand to reach the knockout stage and a similarresult could position the west Africans well in the tournament.

LIBYA:
Aboud, Berrish, Salama, Shibani, Aboubaker, Mohamed
Esnani, Saad, El Khatoushi, Osman, Zuway.
ZAMBIA:
Mweene, Lungu, Himonde, Sunzu, Musonda, Sinkala, Kasonde, Katongo, Kalaba, Chansa, Mayuka.

The Mediterranean Knights’ first appearance at an Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) since 2006 didn’t go according to plan on Saturday. Despite starting relatively well against co-hosts Equatorial Guinea, Libya lost their composure and struggled mightily to create chances until after Javier Balboa’s sublime finish on 87 minutes.
Now it will be up to coach Marcos Paqueta to find a solution to his team’s attacking troubles, specifically how to get his imposing centre-forward, Ahmed Zuway, more involved.
It will be an uphill task against a Zambian side that completely changed the complexion of the group by stunning Senegal with two quick first-half goals before resisting the Teranga Lions’ offensive armada.
Needless to say, Libya don’t haveas much going forward as the west African do and the service to Zuway will need to be much more precise against the organised and often ruthless Chipolopolo.
In his post-match press conference, Herve Renard was quick to point out that Emmanuel Mayuka and Rainford Kalaba’s goals were a direct translation of his strategy to playballs in behind Senegal’s tall and athletic defence. The Libyans won’t pose the same physical challenge but, on their day, the north Africans could cause problems for a Zambian side that they faced in qualifying.

PROBABLE LINEUPS
MALI:
Diakite, Coulibaly, Tamboura, Berthe, Kante, A Traore, Keita, Kone, M Traore, Maiga, Diabate.
GUINEA:
Yattara, Zayatte, Diallo, Kalabane, Camara, Balde, Feindouno, Diallo, Yattara, Bangoura, I Traore.

Mali were involved in one of the most dramatic matches at the last tournament in Angola when they came back from 4-0 down with 15 minutes left to draw with the hosts in the opening match. They have since been working to rebuild their squad with the arrival of Frenchman Alain Giresse as coach.
A younger squad has been built by Giresse around Barcelona starSeydou Keita, who is now 30 years old. The Malians will be without influential midfielder Mahamadou Diarra of Monaco, who did not make the trip to Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. Mali have also announced the call-ups of Ousmane Berthe and Souleymane Keita to their Afcon squad following injuries to midfielder Kalilou Traore and defender Mohamed Fofana.
The Eagles will be hoping to win their first game of this tournament against their neighbours if they are to do better than their last showing where they crashed out in the first round, albeit with one of the most impressive midfield talents in all of the continent.
Guinea will go into this game with the confidence of having stopped giants Nigeria from qualifying for the tournament in a tough group duel last year. Having missed out on the 2010 edition, the Syli Nationale will be looking to make it to the last eight and match their previous feats of 2004-2008.
Anything short of the quarter finals will be seen as failure on the side of Michel Dussuyer’s men who have the influential midfielder Pascal Feindouno andstriker Ismael Bangoura in his side. They will also be able to count on the support of their minister of sport, former Liverpool forward Aboubacar Titi Camara who has been a force of inspiration for the team.Guinea have been hit with the loss of Kevin Constant, however, as the player decided to pull out of the squad ahead of the tournament for reasons that are not entirely clear.
Both teams have to contend with the overpowering presenceof Ghana in their group.

BOTSWANA:
Marumo, Thuma, Gabonamong, Ohilwe, Ramohibidu, Mogorosi, Mongala, Mafoko, Moatlhaping, Moloi, Ramatlhakwane.

If the last two editions of the Africa Cup of Nations are anything to go by, then it is safe to say the 2012 tournament is Ghana’s to lose.
The west Africans have improved game after game with each passing tournament, and sustaining such performances inGabon and Equatorial Guinea could lead them to the ultimate prize. Ghana came third in 2008;second in 2010 and the absenceof giants such as Egypt, Nigeria and Cameroon has convinced several pundits that the Black Stars are in for gold this time around.
Their opening game is against debutants Botswana – a lowly-placed side, but with a danger-man who scored five out of theirseven goals during the qualifying campaign to come second on the overall top scorers’ chart.
The four-time African championshave no injury worries as key striker Asamoah Gyan has recovered in time to be a probable starter. However, one of their influential defenders Isaac Vorsah will miss the opening game due to a suspension.
The southern Africans’ Joel Mogorosi of Township Rollers will miss the tournament and Botswana Defence Force XI defender Mompathi Thuma has injury worries. Their star player Dipsy Selolwane of SuperSport United is serving a suspension and cannot play in the opening game.
It appears the tournament regulars have the upper hand asthe most experienced side, but the Zebras also look set to be part of history, and have nothingto lose in the process.

MOROCCO:
Lamyaghri, Basser, Kaouatri, Benatia, Kaddouri, Belhanda, Kharja, Taarabt, Boussoufa, Amrabat, Chamakh.
TUNISIA:
Mathlouthi, Ifa, Haggui, Abdennour, Jemal, Traoui, Korbi
Allagui, Chikhaoui, Dhaouadi, Khelifa.

After missing out on the 2010 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon), Morocco are outto prove to the continent, and perhaps even themselves, that the days of underachieving are truly behind them. With Eric Gerets at the helm, the Atlas Lions were, for the most part, outstanding in the qualifiers. Furthermore, they will be adequately prepared for their Tunisian opponents as they had to oust Algeria to get to Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
Morocco prepared with a Spain-based training camp that featured a 3-1 comeback win over Grasshopper Zurich and a goalless draw against another Swiss side, Basel. The team looksto be in good shape but Gerets hasn’t been spared injury concerns as the influential Oussama Assaidi has tendinitis in his achilles tendon that may keep him out of the first game, and possibly longer than that.
Facing the Lions are Tunisians who struggled mightily in qualifying due to a combination of political upheaval, injuries, and coaching changes. Despite barely making it, the Carthage Eagles will surely benefit from having a team composed of six representatives from African club champions Esperance. Furthermore, coach Sami Trabelsi and many of the players at his disposal were victorious atthe 2011 Africa Championship ofNations (Chan).
In terms of injuries, Issam Jemaais carrying a hamstring pull that will almost surely prevent him from taking part in this encounter. In addition, Trabelsi will be unable to use his preferred left-back, Khalil Chammam, who is suspended for this encounter due to yellow card accumulation. Koln’s AmmarJemal is expected to take over on the left side of defence. (goal)

Gabon are strong in attack, with former Milan forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, now of St Etienne, and Daniel Cousin providing impressive options upfront.
Level with Sierra Leone and South Africa at the end of all the matches in their qualifying group, and benefitting from the Caf specific regulations to go through, Niger are expected to be the whipping boys in this group, but they will have a great change to prove themselves against the co-hosts.
